My Career Journey
My career launched in luxury fashion retail and spans across multiple industries and people & culture roles.
At Nordstrom, I mastered the art of talent acquisition as well as coaching and development. Throughout the various leadership roles I held at Nordstrom, I became well known for excellence in merchandising, event planning and impactful talent & customer relationship management. I then took on a new challenge as Executive Team Leader at Target. For the first 18 months, I soared in the mastery of operations management before stepping into human resources as a corporate district team leader of HR. This role allowed me the pleasure of honing a variety of skills and impact in the key areas of payroll, talent acquisition, onboarding, total compensation, and leadership development. I took on my next role as Area Manager with ThredUP, a start-up specializing in e-commerce. I made a tremendous impact on overall team morale and success, and after just 4 brief months, I was enthusiastically invited to step into a Human Resources Business Partner, Manager equivalent role. I was able to design, facilitate, and scale a series of comprehensive leadership development courses, resulting in increased employee retention and internal promotions. In my latest role as Regional Human Resources Business Partner with Gopuff, I led and collaborated on key organizational design projects, from developing performance management programs to designing omni-channel retail policies. I am also an arts & culture professional with many years of experience in art direction, business branding, & so much more!
